Three Bedroom House, Bring Your Own Kitchen

Don’t get me wrong, this is a decent place, safely nestled in the normal region of the Sanur housing continuum. It has three good sized bedrooms, it’s quite bright, a nice downstairs living area with your choice of normal sofa or carved wooden waiting room set, a big pool with bale, and is not outrageously priced (and probably negotiable). It looks like someone was let loose with a tin of green paint, to remarkable effect in one of the bathrooms (looks like that neapolitan ice cream my grandmother force-fed be as a child). The property is located west of the Bypass, a 10-15 minute careful drive to the beach.

The only thing that you will need to deal with, or ask the owner to deal with, is the lack of functional kitchen space. There’s a worktop, which is quite big and will clean up nicely. There is space for shelves/cupboards above and below. But it’s not been done. The reason why is worth a blog article on it’s own, but if you want to live here and cook here, you’ll need to look at this. Not a huge issue by any means, we will help negotiate with the owner. But kitchens are important for many, so we thought we’d point it out.
