Charming 3 Bedroom Family Home With Spacious Garden
Property ID: B2163
A spacious property built in a modern tropical villa style with an attractive mix of modern and traditional materials. This property has served admirably as a family home, with well-proportioned bedrooms and living areas and ample outdoor space. It would also be a great retirement home, with space for guests, relatively easy maintenance, and a practical single-level design. For most of the year, Bali living is about enjoying the outdoor space. Over the past year, we’ve all come to cherish private outdoor spaces with mixed utility areas for cooking, exercise, and relaxing. But with rainy season swiftly arriving to the island, we are reminded that for the next few months at least, we’ll need a covered space and the ability to close our doors to the weather and to uninvited critters trying to escape the rain. We’re are ticking some important boxes with this property so far.
Inside, the joined kitchen and living areas are light, bright, and comfortable; complete with a fully-fitted modern kitchen set, ceiling fans, aircon units, and understated easy-maintenance fixtures and flooring. A beautiful Suar/reclaimed wooden kitchen island provides both a social focal point to the space and an interesting contrast to the clean, modern lines of the white kitchen cabinets. Each of the three bedrooms has an ensuite bathroom and direct access to the outdoor space, with the master bedroom featuring an ample walkthrough closet space. The property also features a guest wc located in the hallway just off the kitchen. Finally, there’s a double garage which also holds a storage area and maid quarters. 345m2 built total, on a 720m2 plot. Did I mention the pool? For some reason we didn’t pick up the measurements, but I counted the stones, it works out at about 10m by 4 or 5m, depending on which end you measure. Ample space for a paddle, if not for full laps.
The villa is located on the west side of the Bypass, in an area generally regarded as more residential with a more welcoming ‘village’ feel than the beachside. The area has developed rapidly over recent years, and there are plenty of local restaurants, warungs, cafes within a few minutes drive, with a supermarket very nearby and GoJeks on call at most hours. Nowhere in Sanur is too far from the beach, and this property is an easy 7 minute drive to the main beachside area of Sanur and to the beach itself. You can jump over the Bypass any time and enjoy your favourite haunts, or you can order almost anything and enjoy your beautiful terrace with a nice cold drink. We imagine you’ll end up regularly doing both. And while we can help put you into the position to have to make such difficult daily choices, we can’t choose for you. Such is the burden of Sanur living.
