We see many big, some expansive properties. The thing is, the bigger they are, the more they tend to lose personality or come across as more of a hotel than a home. This property, despite the proportions, retains the feeling of a home. A rather stately home. You can stand in the beautiful and fully functional kitchen and monitor whatever shenanigans are taking place in the beachclub-like back garden. There are spaces for sitting and relaxing, for reading, for entertaining, for drinking a margarita. The property is not missing anything.
Downstairs holds a main sitting area, a more private guest room, perhaps you could call it a drawing room (my parents would not allow kids in there), an open style kitchen/command centre, a more formal dining area overlooking the pool and garden, and a separate bedroom/ensuite bathroom with kitchenette, for those guests who just don’t want to mingle.
Upstairs is a bit of a labyrinth, with corridors leading to bedrooms and bathrooms (including one obscenely large master bathroom). Our photographer got lost upstairs. And this style may not suit those of you looking for a single-level, modern villa. But hey, you can find those anywhere. This property is decidedly different, and as such will divide opinions. Located in a very popular beachside road, five minutes to everything, quiet, safe, and with a very attractive 20 year extension available direct from the current leaseholder. This property and the adjoining three bedroom villa are both very successful holiday rentals, but each also function as private homes. Suitable as an investment, a residence, or as a place to show off photos to your friends. One of our favourites.
